Clearly, the quality of Ulsan's performances is determined by the presence or absence of Lee. Covering all areas of the midfield, he dominates the pitch with his accurate passing and use of space. WERO - 'WERO' means 'lifted' in Korean. It's Lee's rap name, and it's also his goal: three years ago, a 4th division player, now Lee wore the KFA's emblem on his left chest. Lee's career has taken a dramatic upward turn. His meteoric rise is largely due to his tremendous stamina and the intelligence to read pitches in their entirety. The testament to his football intelligence that he can also play LB and CB. His leadership skills led him to leave Gwangju in 2024 to become captain of Daejeon.
